Welcome to our spot on the web. We are moving forward in 2006 and the art of spoken word is so amazing that we had to make room for it here. What we offer here is the latest in Metro Detroit's Poetry Circles. Here in our spoken word spot, we spotlight local talent and welcome gifted poets from all over. You can find resources and local poetry spots. We also have featured poets.

Poetry or spoken word is more than slammin', spittin, reading, rhymin or reciting- it is about taking your audience to the next level. Freedom of speech, self expression and style contribute to your art and help to evoke emotions in your audience. Just like there are many styles of rhymin' there are also several types of poetry.
