In keeping with the mission and vision of WL to educate and empower authors, filmmakers and aspiring writer’s and assist in the fight against illiteracy, we are proud to partner with Poetic Justice for God and once again with ProLiteracy this year for our 3rd annual literary conference and awards. Authors, Aspiring Writers, Poets, Filmmakers and Readers will have the opportunity to learn, read, promote, interact, network and make strides toward a community with a healthy literacy rate as well as assisting the careers of literary entrepreneurs. Join in the dialogue on how to help Detroit: move to the literary forefront, eradicate illiteracy, promote healthy attitudes about reading in our youth and allow self published authors to flourish! We are Detroit's premier writing conference because of our unique qualities; Legacy Awards, Children & Teens Track, Christian Track, Filmmakers Track and coming in 2008 the Speakers Track.
